Catherine Anne
Catherine Anne O'Hara OOC was born on March 4 1954. O'Hara has won a number awards, including the Genie Award (a Golden Globe Award) as well as two Screen Actors Guild Awards and two Primetime Emmy Awards. In addition, O'Hara was awarded six Canadian Screen Awards. She was named an Officer of the Order of Canada in 2018 and was awarded the Governor General's Performing Arts Lifetime Artistic Achievement Award in 2020. O'Hara was first noticed as an actor in the year 1974, as a member of The Second City improvisational comedy troupe in Toronto. She was part of the main ensemble cast of the sitcom Coming Up Rosie (1975-1978) together with John Candy and Dan Aykroyd. O'Hara joined Candy on the sketch comedy show Second City Television (1976-1984). She received the attention of critics both for her writing abilities and acting and was honored with the Primetime Emmy Award, 1981 for Outstanding Writing in a Variety Series. O'Hara was part of the brand-new Second City artistic Advisory Board and was led by Stephen Colbert. Other members of the board included Dwayne Colbert. Tina Fey. Keegan–Michael Key.
