Krystal Marie Ball
Krystal Marie, who was born on on November 24 1981, is an American political commentator. She was previously a presidential candidate, as well as a television host at MSNBC and a frequent contributor to The Huffington Post and former co-host of The Hill's Rising alongside Saagar Enjeti. Enjeti and Ball have announced in May 2021 that they'd quit the show in order to start their own project, Breaking Points with Krystal and Saagar. Ball is a cohost on Krystal Kyle & Friends. She has also appeared as a guest on networks like CNN, CNBC, Fox News and shows like Real Time with Bill Maher. Ball is currently engaged to Jonathan Dariyanani, as of 2020. Ball attributes her increased enthusiasm for politics to having the mother of 2008's primary elections. In addition, she viewed the US election outcome during her time in Jordan. She observed how it affected people in that country and thus gained an appreciation for the global impact of US politics. She was a Senior Fellow of the New Leaders Council. Ball was chosen by the Democratic Party to represent Virginia's 1stCongressional District during the 2010 election. She was defeated by Rob Wittman. From June 2012 to July 2015, she was co-host of The Cycle on MSNBC. She established the People's House Project (a political action committee dedicated to Democratic causes) in May 2017.
